Afanat™ is a quality-assured generic of Gilotrif® (also known as Xovoltib®) which is an approved medicine to treat metastatic non–small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with non–resistant epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutations. It’s also used for patients with metastatic squamous NSCLC progressing after platinum-based chemotherapy.
